• HOT OR COLD THERAPY: Either heat in microwave or chill in freezer or refrigerator, depending on the stage of your recovery.
• COLD THERAPY: Place in the freezer for 1 hour or refrigerator for 2-3 hours before use. Note: We suggest storing the gel pack in a plastic bag while in the freezer for better hygiene.
• HOT THERAPY: Before heating, gel pack must be at room temperature. Place in the Microwave (Based on 1300 WATT) w/ black hook (rough) side down on a paper towel. Heat for 15 seconds then flip over and heat for another 15 seconds. After heating wait 1 minute before applying to the shoulder.
• Use Caution as the gel pack may be hot. The product should feel WARM to the touch, NOT HOT. If the product is not warm enough heat in 10 sec. intervals while flipping the product. HOT THERAPY: Before heating, gel pack must be at room temperature. Place in the microwave (Based on 1300 WATT) w/ black hook (rough) side down on a paper towel. The NatraCure Compression Knee Gel Pack Replacement (1 Unit) is designed fit the NatraCure Hot/Cold & Compression Knee Brace Support so you always have a gel pack at the ready for your recovery needs. Directions for Use: Cold Therapy: Store for a minimum of 1 hour in a freezer or 2-3 hours in a refrigerator. May use an ice cooler if you place the removable gel pack within a plastic bag to keep it dry. Ideal to lay the removable gel pack flat while cooling, but will work folded in half as well. It may be left in the freezer indefinitely until ready to use. Heat Therapy: Before heating, gel pack must be at room temperature. Place laying flat in the Microwave w/ black hook (rough) side down on a paper towel. Heat for 15 sec. then flip over and heat for another 15 sec. Use caution as the gel pack may be hot. After heating wait 1 minute before applying to the shoulder. The product should feel WARM to the touch, NOT HOT. If the product is not warm enough heat in 10 sec. intervals while flipping the product. Be wary of uneven heating, "HOT SPOTS" caused by the microwaves. Before applying massage the gel pack to evenly distribute the heated gel inside. Time is based on a 1300 WATT microwave. Due to DIFFERENCES in microwave powers heating times may vary, please use caution when heating and adjust time accordingly. DO NOT OVERHEAT. CAUTION: Consult your physician before using this product. Only use this product for 20 minutes at a time on the affected area. Do not use the removable gel product over open wounds and sensitive skin. Do not use heated removable gel pack on parts of body where there is swelling, redness or immediately after injury. Cold therapy is recommended for these conditions. If removable gel pack has been torn, overheated or has been compromised (and is leaking) discard immediately. Keep out of reach of children and pets. CAUTION PLACE A FABRIC INTERFACE BETWEEN THE GEL PACK AND THE SKIN PRIOR TO USING HOT OR COLD THERAPY.
